Course Description: Improve your Bridge judgment and
game! Course intended for intermediate level and a basic knowledge of
the game of bridge and experience are mandatory. This hands-on
instructional workshop will improve your bidding judgment and help you
play and defend hands better. The instructor is a highly experienced
bridge teacher and player and tailors the bridge learning process to the
knowledge and skill level within the group. Lots of instructional play.
This hands-on course is always taught by a highly skilled and qualified
Life Master Bridge instructor and director. Paul Thurston is our
scheduled Bridge Instructor. Besides being known for both his teaching
and as a bridge director, Paul is the writer for the Bridge column in
both The National Post & the St. Catharine paper. He is also a highly
acclaimed international player & coach for the Canada Team, and in
addition, Paul has two award-winning bridge books in print and high
demand.
We guarantee that you will improve your game, as you learn to bid and
defend hands better. The instructional sessions are designed for those
with a knowledge and experience of the game (no beginners). Classes are
well-attended, so don't delay to reserve. No partner is required.

Exploring Your Creativity: Intensive Watercolour Workshop
May 11 - 16, 2008

Course Description: Explore the elements of shape,
value, line, colour and composition in this fun & creative workshop. You
can be loose or tight, as you wish; you will be amazed at the results as
you find your most original and imaginative self, while at the same time
you strengthen your design abilities. There will be daily demonstrations
and lots of individual attention and feedback. This class is suitable
for all levels.
The instructor for this class will be Anne Barkley.
Anne’s professional artistic biography reads: Anne Barkley loves the
journey she is on and she enjoys the clients, teachers, students, and
other artists she meets along the way. Anne has a Fine Arts Certificate
and a Teacher of Adults Certificate (both with distinction) from St.
Lawrence College in Brockville, and is an undergraduate of Queen’s
University. She is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists,
and she belongs to several other Art groups, including: Brockville
Artists Studio, Brave Art, Cornwall Regional Art Gallery (Juror’s
honourable mention, second prize), East Central Ontario Art Association,
Art Association of the Visual Arts Eastern Ontario, CARFAC (Canadian
Artists’ Representation), Ottawa Mixed Media Artists (two Juror awards
of excellence), Elected Fellow, Ottawa Watercolour Society (three Juror
awards), and Visual Arts Ontario.
Anne has taught classes and workshops in Canada and the
U.S. She is represented by Galerie d’Art Epoque in Gatineau, Leonardo
Gallery and Gallery 133 in Toronto, Bremmer Fine Art in Markham, and in
Ottawa, Brittania Gallery and the Ottawa Art Gallery.

Improve your golf! This programme is designed for golfers of all
calibre, from beginner to experienced. Group instruction by CPGA
professionals. Also, improve your chipping, putting and sand shots
with small, focused groups. Daily play and daily lessons included in
your package, with a 3-day/9-hole package at

the 1st tee!).
